Despite all the odds, despite the pandemic and movement restrictions and everything else, some traditions refuse to die. Debate Club Segovia is proud to announce the 4th Royal Artillery Debate between the Spanish Royal Artillery Academy of Segovia and Debate Club Segovia is on!
The event will be held live and in person in the Academy’s Assembly Hall on April 12th at 5:00 pm. In compliance with Health and Safety regulations, this exclusive event is open to only the first 35 people. While there is a waiting list, expect spots to fill up quickly.
This year’s topic: should the EU create a Joint-Military Force? The event promises to bring an interesting and lively debate as IE’s own team takes the affirmative stance that the EU should indeed create such a force, while the Academy cadets argue against.
Debate Club Segovia would like to remind students that, in order to attend this event, Spanish Health and Security Policies must be followed. Students must provide official government-issued identification (such as a NIE or Passport) to the Debate Club Segovia prior to the event with their registration. You will also be required to present the same government-issued identification and IE digital health passport to security at the door. Failure to do so, or using a different identification, may result in you being denied entry to the event, regardless of registration. Late registration may result in entry delays. In the event of error, please contact Debate Segovia at debate.club@ie.edu .
