The Ministry of Health of the Government of Madrid is opening a vaccination point at the IE Tower tomorrow, Thursday September 30th, between 10:00 – 18:00 for anyone who has not yet received a COVID-19 vaccination.
Any student, faculty, or staff member who has not received a vaccination against COVID-19 is can get vaccinated tomorrow, without an appointment, by using the Monforte de Lemos access on level -3. It is available only tomorrow as of right now, between the hours of 10:00-18:00, but the Health Council in Madrid will inform the university if it’s subject to change.
The vaccination spot is not exclusive to the IE community and is open to whoever wishes to get vaccinated. People living in Madrid can also get vaccinated at the WiZink center without an appointment. If students from the Segovia Campus want to get vaccinated, they have to contact the IE medical team for further notice.
Any additional information regarding IE university’s health protocol can be found here and here.
Spain has officially recognized any vaccine that has been approved by either the EU or the WHO. The certificate should include the date and location the vaccine was administered and the type of vaccine, and must be in Spanish, English, French or German.
If an international student got vaccinated in their home country with the approved vaccines, they can now get their vaccination certified by the Spanish government and obtain the QR code for an EU digital certificate by booking an appointment here.
