The IE Undergraduate Women in Business Club is part of the IE academic and professional clubs providing an outstanding bridge between the professional world and students at IE. We look to ensure that IE students are continuously in touch with professionals and emerging opportunities in the workforce even as undergraduates. Also, it provides a large network of students and professionals from incredibly diverse fields and backgrounds to achieve sustainable success.

“IE Women in Business provides students with fantastic opportunities to engage with professionals in their field of interest to open the doors to incredible new future opportunities.”

WHO CAN JOIN WIB?

Women in Business is open to any undergraduate and graduate male or female students interested in advancing their professional careers through networking. Women in Business organizes many events during the academic year to build a bridge between your aspirations and beneficial professional development.

WHAT DOES THE CLUB DO?

The Club hosts multiple different styles of events ranging from professional conferences to personalized dinners and workshops. IE WiB Chapter hosts an annual event flying in the top professionals in their field to provide outstanding conversations and presentations on relevant topics in different fields. We also organize smaller networking events such as the Dinner Series and networking gatherings tailored to foster a more personal relationship between the speakers and fellow IE students.

WHAT IS YOUR CLUB MOST PROUD OF?

IE Women in Business is incredibly proud of both our internal and external impact. With the IE community’s incredible ability to participate and debate new ideas at our events, we have created a very strong network of people willing to grow and learn with an open mind. We are incredibly proud and thankful for our member growth as it continuously allows us to expand our platform and visibility in the professional world to attract senior-level speakers with greater experience in almost every field.

WHAT ARE THE CLUB’S BIGGEST ACHIEVEMENTS OR EVENTS SO FAR?

WiB has had the honor of being awarded the Best Professional Club for two consecutive years as well as the Best Event of the year. Bringing in professionals from all over the world for our IE Spring 2020 Leadership Conference, we look to empower men and women to celebrate their uniqueness and push forward to propel innovation, change, and integration. Through our outstanding list of senior speakers, we aspire to foster a transformative professional experience to encourage dialogue of different perspectives, cultures, and ideas.

“I’ve learned that having a strong, united and well-structured team is vital as it is the one thing that will allow you to successfully thrive in any disruptive situation, in this case, the pandemic. Also, we’ve learnt how to adapt to unforeseen circumstances without changing our core essence and keep on with past work!” Maria Camila ACosta, Co-Leader of WiB Madrid

WHAT IS THE CLUB LOOKING FORWARD TO?

Both the Masters and Undergraduate Chapters of WiB are incredibly excited to pioneer a year of virtual events so our members can gain the maximum exposure to the professional world, especially in this time of uncertainty. We believe that understanding how to adapt, evolve, and innovate during these times of crisis is a key pillar to our club but also to the real working world we live in. We look forward to announcing our upcoming events with some truly fantastic guests.
